South Kitsap football coach Sean Banks continues to believe the Wolves will return to being a perennial force one day. Still, as he embarks on his third season in Port Orchard, even Banks is willing to concede that a major turnaround for a program that hasn't posted a winning season since 2012 will have to include a degree of patience from all involved.
"It's going to take time," said Banks, a former player and team captain with the Wolves. "South Kitsap has the bones. Can we coach well enough and long enough?"
