A shift in weather patterns will bring cooler temperatures and increasing cloud cover to the Lehigh Valley on Thursday, with a slight possibility of scattered showers overnight into Friday morning.

The National Weather Service forecast indicates a cold front approaching from the west will bring southwest winds 5-10 mph occasionally gusting to 20 mph.
