Spanish actress Verónica Echegui died on Sunday at the age of 42.
No official cause of death has been confirmed, but she was being treated for cancer, multiple outlets reported.

Echegui, who was born in Spain in 1983, became a household name in her native country following her performance in the 2006 film My Name Is Juani ( Yo soy la Juani ), which earned her a Goya Award nomination for Best New Actress.
