College football isn’t the only thing returning to the Magnolia State this weekend. Firearm enthusiasts in Mississippi will soon have the chance to purchase discounted items as the state’s annual Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday is right around the corner.
From Friday through Sunday, shoppers can avoid paying the pesky sales tax on certain items, including guns, ammunition, and certain hunting supplies.
The discount, however, does not apply to all gun-related items. Those looking to purchase hunting apparel, toy guns, and cases or bags for firearms or ammunition this weekend will have to pay the sales tax tacked on by retailers.
