Northwest Indiana comes alive with tradition as Labor Day approaches with numerous celebrations, festivals, picnics and cultural events.
Highlighting the list of holiday activities is the 75th annual Lowell Labor Day Fest. The festival, which lasts three days, is packed with activities for all ages, including a kids zone, dinosaur day, petting zoo, parade, fireworks, races, games and live music.
