A major main break flooded a San Bernardino County neighborhood late Wednesday and left behind a mess as utility crews continued work to restore service.
At least one home was flooded near Michigan and Main streets in Grand Terrace. Five to 10 inches of water was on Michigan Street at the height of the flooding, residents said.

By early Thursday morning, crews had dug up part of the street to reach the broken water main, which failed at about 10:30 p.m. It was not immediately clear when water service will be restored.
