One Adolescence standout is poised to make her Emmy debut a winning one in this year’s race for best supporting actress in a limited series.
Erin Doherty earned her first career Emmy nod for playing child psychologist Briony in a memorable episode of the Netflix crime drama, and she’s the runaway favorite to take home the Emmy when they’re handed out on Sept. 14 on CBS. She has some competition from her own show, though: Christine Tremarco is also enjoying her first career nomination for playing Manda Miller, the mom of accused killer Jamie.
