Top Boy star, Michael Ward has been granted bail after appearing in court this morning (August 28).

The actor, 27, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, has been charged with two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault, which were reported to have taken place in January 2023. He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court for the short hearing.

At court he was asked to confirm his name, address and date of birth. He did not enter any please and was granted conditional bail ahead of his next appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 25.
