DENVER (KDVR) — After two years of renovations, Moraine Park Campground in the Rocky Mountain National Park is slowly rolling out reservations, and soon, campsite spots will be up for grabs for the start of leaf peeping season.

On Thursday at 8 a.m., the national park said it's releasing additional campsite reservations for Sept. 10 through Sept. 27, which is right around when fall leaves are expected to change color and start to peak at Rocky Mountain National Park.

These reservations will be the last for the next month, as the national park said the campsite would close again on Sept. 28 to finish some remaining construction before reopening on Oct. 20 on a first-come, first-served basis.
