In November 2024, The Yoga House owners, Amy Reed and Joyce San Pedro, announced they'd be opening a third Poughkeepsie location in the South Road Crossing Plaza on Route 9.

A grand opening will be held Sept. 6-7.

Nearly a year since its announcement, the Ulster County-based yoga studio dubbed The Yoga House , with locations in Kingston and Highland, is at long last opening its doors to a new Town of Poughkeepsie spot.

Owners Amy Reed and Joyce San Pedro will celebrate the grand opening with the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 6-7.

The Yoga House's new home in Poughkeepsie is at the South Road Crossing Plaza on U.S. Route 9 — it sits near other businesses like Moonburger, Crumbl and Dutchess Roots .
