When Jami Morris of Chagrin Falls first decided to hold a golf fundraiser to support lymphoma research at University Hospitals’ Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland in 2022 , her goal was to raise between $10,000 and $12,000.

But Morris’ Hit Fore Hope didn’t just pass its objective – it shattered the mark, raising over four times its target and over $52,000 in its first iteration.

Fast forward to 2025 and the fourth such event held July 21 at Beechmont Country Club in Orange, the amount raised is now more than 100 times greater than what Morris first had in mind.
