NYS Fair’s new Wool Center: Bigger space but ‘we’re kind of in the boonies’

The Wool Center’s spacious new digs at the 2025 NYS Fair are a big improvement over the little green shack where, for 50 years, legions of fleece fans have fawned over hand-spun fiber art.

The new Wool Center is part of a $35 million project aimed at improving agricultural facilities at the fair.
