Federal agents arrested 27 people in connection to a fentanyl and methamphetamine bust in New Hampshire linked to the Mexican Sinaloa cartel, FOX News reports.
The supply chain was traced back from Franklin, New Hampshire, through Lawrence, Massachusetts, which has long been identified as a fentanyl hub for the New England region.
"Happening NOW! Twenty seven people in Franklin, New Hampshire have just been arrested! Fentanyl and methamphetamine sourced from Lawrence, Massachusetts have been seized. The drugs are directly linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. The investigation continues," the Drug Enforcement Administration of New England wrote on its X account, along with a photo of suspects being detained and another showing stacks of cash seized in the bust.
