San Antonio-based artist Daniela Oliver de Portillo is collaborating with the San Antonio River Foundation’s Art in the Open initiative for “Hidden Blooms,” an interactive art installation along the river featuring 40 hand-built ceramic vases adorned with delicate paper cyanotype flowers.

The vases are placed in areas surrounding the Mission Reach Art Portals, waiting to be discovered by passersby who can take the vase home.
