Marlins Broadcaster Befuddled About Why Ronald Acuna Did NOT Charge the Mound After He Was Hit by Pitch

A Miami Marlins announcer took issue with Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. not charging the mound after he was hit by a pitch.

The Marlins and Braves faced off in the final game of their three-game series Wednesday afternoon at LoanDepot Park. In the third inning, Braves first baseman Matt Olson hit a two-run home run off starting pitcher Ryan Gusto . Acuna was the next batter; and on the very first pitch of the at-bat, Gusto threw a high and inside pitch right at Acuna’s elbow guard. Acuna took a few steps toward Gusto and exchanged words with him, resulting in the dugouts and bullpens being cleared.
