Animal rescuers were horrified after making a harrowing discovery in a Primark bag left at an industrial area of the UK.

On August 8, a brown bag was found dumped on Cobden Street in Salford, Greater Manchester, alongside a shocking handwritten note.

Inside the carrier was a red, size 12 Pretty Little Thing dress, some curtains and one other heartbreaking find - a little kitten.

The dead animal was hidden inside a paper Morrisons bag, with a note attached to the bag which read: "Don't touch. Dead cats."
