UK households have been urged to sign up for the free childcare scheme within the next three days or risk losing out on support worth up to £7,500 per year.
Current childcare rules stipulate working parents of children over the age of nine months are able to access 15 hours of funded childcare a week during term time.
However, from Monday, September 1, this will change to allow parents to access 30 hours of paid for childcare if the child is this age or above.
If you qualify, you must remember to apply now to ensure your help comes in time. There are also rules surrounding if you are eligible for this scheme.
