BEEBE, Ark. — This week, Eat It Up traveled to White County for some coffee and bagels at Theater Coffee and Café in Beebe!

This local spot just off the first exit has quickly built a loyal following for more than just their coffee and pastries. They also feature a wide menu of salads, sandwiches, and even BBQ!

Owner Joshua Kerr is a man of many talents, but he has always had a love of food.

"I run a CPA next door, and that's my primary job. We had an officer that came open next door, and I've always had a passion for good food and coffee, so about 2 1/2 years ago I took a chance and opened this little place up," he said.

Theater Cafe got its name from many of the first employees dreaming of being actors, and the decor features newspaper collections over the years from Kerr's father.
