Deion Sanders made a surprising admission about the Colorado student section, which is perhaps typical of college students, yet still oddly timed.
The Buffaloes head coach is entering his third season with the program after leading them to a bowl game in 2024, having recently returned from a lengthy absence prompted by a cancer diagnosis and resulting surgery.
With Colorado playing at home, Coach Prime was asked what surprised him most about the atmosphere at Folsom Field during an interview with CBS and revealed that the smell of cannabis being smoked, specifically throughout the second quarter of every game, was what shocked him.
“The smell of weed in the second quarter surprised the heck out of me, every game,” he said. “I’m like ‘damn’.”
