WALLA WALLA, Wash. - British American rock band 'Foreigner' took the stage on opening night of Walla Walla's Annual Fair and Frontier Days.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, Foreigner has sold more than 80 million albums worldwide. Formed in 1976, the band released their first self-titled album a year later.

For Kelly Hansen, lead vocalist of the band, this year marks both the end of an era as well as new beginnings.

"I'm just trying to soak in all of the joy and the good vibes... because this is it for me. I'm finishing mid-October," said Hansen.

According to Hanse, Luis Maldonado, who's been playing with the band over the last five years, will be taking his place as lead vocalist.
