The beloved West Lothian Christmas event , Starry Nights, has been cancelled this year due to "significant storm damage".
Each year the popular event drew massive crowds to Beecraigs Country Park where revellers could observe stunning display of Christmas lights.
However, despite "dedicated efforts" to complete "extensive remediation works" at the park, West Lothian Council announced the event is off for 2025.
Organisers GC Live Limited are seeking agreement from West Lothian Council that their current five-year agreement can be terminated early, with immediate effect and by mutual consent.
Following discussions between the parties, GCLL have offered to make an “exit payment” of £30,000 to the council. All income raised will go directly into open spaces and local facilities such as
