CHELYAN, W.Va. — Southbound traffic stalled on the West Virginia Turnpike Thursday morning in Kanawha County when a tractor-trailer caught on fire near the Chelyan toll plaza.
The fire was reported at before 10 a.m. and southbound quickly backed up for a few miles close to the Marmet exit.
Southbound traffic was moving again by 10:45 a.m. but slowly.
There were no injuries reported.
