AKRON, Ohio — Former Archbishop Hoban High School teacher Chad Kendall has been indicted on 10 counts of sexual battery, according to new court documents filed in Summit County.

Kendall’s arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. in Summit County Court of Common Pleas.

CASE DETAILS

Kendall, 36, turned himself in earlier this month after Akron police charged him on Aug. 1 with multiple counts of sexual battery involving former students.

According to the indictment, the incidents are alleged to have occurred between Sept. 1, 2022, and April 30, 2024. 3News previously reported that two victims were between the ages of 16 and 17 at the time.
