Jhancarlos Lara gets another chance at some extended work as the Stripers host the Tide tonight at 7:05. In his last appearance, Lara looked good with his 4S/SL combination before wafering a bit later with his command. He faces off against Levi Wells who will be making his Triple-A debut.

The Tide will be happy it’s someone new on the mound, after being dominated by JR Ritchie last night to the tune of 11 strikeouts, and 15 total strikeouts for the game. The Stripers will hopefully have some more offense today, after yesterday all of their runs came from a two run homer by Jonathan Ornelas.
