On the eve of Labor Day Weekend, the Boston Red Sox are in playoff position this late in the season for the first time since 2021.

Between the arrivals of Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer, the dominant pitching of Garrett Crochet and Aroldis Chapman, and the resurgence of Trevor Story , it’s been a fun summer for Red Sox fans, especially compared to the last few seasons.
