ST. PAUL — Rep. Ben Davis, R-Mission Township, announced employers in the district have been awarded more than $270,000 in funding through Minnesota’s Dual Training Grant Program.

The latest round of grants will provide local businesses with resources to train employees through on-the-job learning combined with postsecondary education, helping workers gain industry-recognized credentials while advancing their careers.

Among the recipients are:

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, awarded $165,000 to support health care workforce training.

Grand Village in Grand Rapids, awarded $105,600 to advance training in health care services.
