WICHITA, Kan (KSNW) - Walking into a thrift store, you never know what you will find.

"I think the fun thing about thrifting is you always get that high when you find something," said Heather Seachris.

The hunt can give people a rush. Seachris wanted to turn it into more than that.

"I just feel like God's put it on my heart to give back, and this is a way we can give back," she said.

In February, she and her husband opened Thrift for a Cause.

"It's about our customers having a place where they can come and get clothes, dishes, supplies, all of the things for a very reasonable price, but then anything, profits we do make go back to the community," Seachris explained.

Each month, they select a different nonprofit or community initiative to support with a donation.
