AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Earlier this summer, Donn's Depot held a benefit for one of the bar's regular musicians, who'd stepped away from performing to address health concerns.

The piano bar shared the unfortunate news earlier this week that Chris Gage had passed away after battling those health complications.

Gage played at Donn’s on Monday nights for decades. After stepping away, his friends, other musicians and the Donn’s Depot community stepped up to help raise money to support him through a GoFundMe and a musical benefit held in June.
