AUBURN, Ky. – An Auburn man is facing burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a business on two separate occasions in the same month.
Logan County Sheriff Stephen Stratton says the department responded to a burglary at Auburn Grocery Store on West Main Street on August 1.
On August 25, the department received a call to investigate a burglary at Auburn Grocery Store again.
Sheriff Stratton says an investigation determined the suspect to be Michael Watkins, 41, of Auburn.
Watkins was arrested and lodged at the Logan County Jail.
He is charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, and one count of possession of burglary tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
