Easton police seized crack cocaine and arrested an alleged drug dealer Wednesday evening during a raid on a West Ward apartment.
Easton Police Lt. Matt Gerould said the search began shortly before 8 p.m. at the home in the first block of North Union Street. Easton’s Police Special Response and Vice Units obtained a search warrant following an investigation into crack cocaine sales in the area, Gerould said.
Sharod Dushawn Robinson, 44, of the 600 block of Ferry Street, was the focus of the investigation and was arrested at the house, Gerould said.
Investigators said they seized crack cocaine from the home and Robinson’s possession, as well as two cellphones. Investigators believe one of the phones was used during a prior controlled buy, city police said.
