Most people in Wilmington know we've got an outstanding theatrical community, but to my mind the community rarely shines more brightly than when a theater company decides to tell a story that's never been told before by staging an original production.

Running through Sunday, Aug. 31, at Thalian Hall's studio theater is just such a show: the comedic drama "Mercury" by longtime Wilmington thespian Lee Lowrimore, directed by Steve Vernon for Big Dawg Productions.
