A return to Rangers for Steven Gerrard would "make sense" kickstart his management career. ‌

That is according to pundit James Tomkins with pressure mounting on Russell Martin after a lacklustre start to his career in the Ibrox dugout. ‌

The Liverpool icon has been persistently linked with a return to Rangers having previously lifted the Scottish Premiership during his time in Glasgow. ‌
