LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - A Mexican national with multiple prior felony convictions has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for illegally reentering the United States.
Salvador Gonzales-Sanchez will serve three years of parole after being released.
The DOJ says that Sanchez was found by immigration officials in Nevada after being previously deported in 2011, 2017, and 2023.
Sanchez has four prior felony convictions for being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm in 2010, being a deported alien found living in the U.S. unlawfully in 2016, assault with a firearm on a person in 2021, and conspiracy to violate uniform controlled substance act from 2023.
He pleaded guilty to one count of being a deported alien found living in the United States.
