Greater Sudbury Police on Aug. 27 caught a driver going double the speed limit on Municipal Road 80.
On social media, the police service said officers first clocked the driver doing 109 km/hour in a 60 km/hour zone.

The driver “then accelerated to 160 in an 80 zone,” police said.
Officers charged the driver with dangerous driving, two counts of speeding and two counts of stunt driving, as well as a 30-day licence suspension.
Police did not release the driver’s name.
