According to the personal-finance website, an average of eight teens die every day in the U.S. from motor vehicle accidents, underscoring the importance of safe driving practices. WalletHub analyzed all 50 states using 23 key metrics, including teen driver fatalities, DUI rates, repair costs, and the presence of distracted-driving and impaired-driving laws. Indiana ranked 7th overall, placing it above average in teen driving safety.
