HIDALGO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mexican American singer and songwriter Xavi is coming to Hidalgo.

Xavi is scheduled to perform on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Hidalgo Payne Arena for his X Tour. The breakout artist rose to fame with his hit "La Diabla," which charted on Spotify's Global 200.

He is known for his unique blend of traditional corridos, R&B, pop, and urban influences in his music, which sets him apart in the industry.

Xavi has collaborated with multiple artists such as Reik, Belinda, Tony Aguirre, Los Dareyes De La Sierra, and others.

Additionally, he has teased an upcoming single with Edinburg natives Grupo Frontera titled "No Capea." The new single is described as a cumbia record that is much anticipated by fans from all generations.
