RUTLEDGE – After a successful opening game to the season last week, the Grainger Grizzlies hope to build on that victory as they host Union County Friday at The Den.

“Union County is a really gritty football team that plays with a lot of effort,” Grainger head coach Michael Manis said of the scouting report on the Patriots. “Up front, this is probably one of the bigger teams they have had in the past few years. We haven’t played them the last two seasons but looking back in the past, they are really big on the offense and defensive lines. The quarterback throws the ball well and they have a pretty decent receiver.”
