The Palmview Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating two men who they said were seen on surveillance footage illegally dumping a dead dog and trash.

The incident took place on July 7, 2025, on Two Mile Line Road between Bentsen Palm Drive and Minnesota Road, according to a social media post.

The men are facing illegal dumping charges if caught, but Palmview Police Chief Jose Treviño said the men could face additional charges if they find out the dog was abused.

“It could potentially later on also add a charge of animal cruelty as well,” Treviño said.
