FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It was a rainy Thursday morning, as showers arrived ahead of another cold front that will keep us cool to end the week. Temperatures stay in the low to mid 70s for the rest of the week, but a gradual warmup is expected throughout the holiday weekend under sunny skies.
Today is the only chance until the middle of next week for rain and we are still asking for more rain as abnormally dry conditions continue to spread across 21Country on the latest drought monitor update.
After a cold front crosses tonight, we will stay dry for the holiday weekend with plenty of sunshine, and cooler temperatures. Lows will drop into the 40s for Saturday morning, and climb from there. Highs back near 80 degrees in time for Labor Day, but we still are expected to trend below average
