ATLANTA — The Falcons placed edge rusher Bralen Trice on the injured reserve Thursday, another blow for the 2024 third-round pick who has yet to make his NFL regular season debut after missing last season on IR.
The move Thursday does not mean Trice will miss all of this season — he can return after four games, unlike offensive lineman Kaleb McGary, who was placed on IR before the roster was finalized.
It is unclear, however, if he might miss more than four games. 11Alive's Maria Martin reports Trice will be sidelined due to a "reoccurring injury to his knee."
Trice was taken with the 74th overall pick in the 2024 draft out of Washington, but to this point has only ever appeared on the field with the Falcons for preseason action.
