CO (Conservation Officer) Jim Guida (Brainerd #2) investigated a fire where the permittee was burning a brush pile and a couch. When asked, the individual said the cat peed on the couch and he didn’t know what to do with it. Guida kept busy with watercraft and all-terrain vehicle enforcement this week. Guida continued his field training assignment with COC (Conservation Officer Candidate) Benjamin Xiong.

CO Luke Belgard (Pine River) worked angling, boating, and AIS enforcement this week. A regional enforcement training was attended.

CO Tony Flerlage (Crosby) reminded ATV riders of the law concerning youth wearing helmets. He received calls concerning illegal shoreline work, injured and sick animals, and fish overlimits.
