Authorities in New Jersey are searching for a man who busted into a Dunkin store in Newark over the weekend, and then made off with approximately $10,000 in cash.
The burglary occurred on Sunday at a Dunkin located in the 100 block of Bergen Street, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. told NJ Advance Media.
When officers arrived on the scene around 9:30 p.m., they found that the glass front door leading into the store had been shattered, but no suspect was inside.
Surveillance video from the store shows a man breaking through the door and making his way inside, police said.
“He made his way to a back office, where he rummaged through drawers and storage areas until he opened a file cabinet with the cash ,” Miranda added.
