GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — In celebration of National Emergency Management Month, the Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is hosting open houses at the Public Safety Center.

The open houses have been an opportunity for the public to tour parts of the facility and learn more about how the OEM operates to help keep the public safe.

One of the people at the open house was the Director of Operations at the Discovery Center, Hunter Bartlet. This is his first time getting a tour of the public safety center, and he has been impressed with the resources Greene County has available for emergencies.
