Bo Nix contacted a future Hall of Famer this summer amid his pursuit of becoming the Denver Broncos' next great quarterback.
Nix has said he met with former New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees earlier this offseason. The 13-time Pro Bowler, of course, played for Broncos head coach Sean Payton for 15 seasons in New Orleans.
The meeting could prove beneficial for the 25-year-old signal-caller. Brees won a Super Bowl with the Saints during the 2009 season. More importantly, he knows all the pressure that comes with being a cornerstone for a rebuilding franchise.
"It's pretty unique," Broncos QBs coach Davis Webb said of the meeting, per The Athletic's Nick Kosmider. "Bo going out there and visiting with Drew and putting a face to the schedule, Drew having time to think about it before
