The Bayside Hills Civic Association will commemorate the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Memorial Garden on the north side of the intersection of Bell Boulevard and the Horace Harding Expressway.

The BHCA is asking that anyone wishing to leave candles at the memorial make sure they are glass-enclosed.
