On Tuesday, August 19, Flushing Hospital Medical Center cut the ribbon for its brand-new, state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The new NICU named in loving memory of Robert Russo, will provide an environment for Flushing Hospital doctors and nurses to deliver the highest-quality, specialized care to premature and low birthweight infants, as well as those born with complications.

Joining Flushing Hospital leadership to cut the ribbon was Frank Russo, above center, founder and CEO of Angels on the Bay, as well as members of the group’s Board of Directors.
