(CNN) - Those movies and TV shows you’ve purchased on Amazon don’t actually belong to you.

Now, Amazon is facing a lawsuit over the situation.

A proposed class action lawsuit was filed last week in Washington federal court against Amazon, accusing the company of a “bait and switch.”

The person who filed the lawsuit says she purchased episodes of a Nickelodeon TV series in May, but she later found her purchases were no longer available.

That’s due to fine print that states the buyer has agreed to Amazon’s terms that says they are purchasing a license to watch it for a period of time.

The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages, including damages for alleged intentionally malicious conduct.
