NEBRASKA (KCAU) — The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said they have located the site of an aircraft crash Thursday morning.

Officials said, the county sheriff's office and Kearney Police Department utilized drones to find an aircraft that had been routed to the Kearney Regional Airport on Wednesday night. Contact was lost with the aircraft, and it's last known location was just north of the airport.

At the site, authorities found two deceased people. They are working to notify the families.
