JACKSON, Miss. (WDAM) - Lisa Jo Chamberlin has filed yet another petition for post-conviction relief with the Mississippi Supreme Court.
The Mississippi Supreme Court recently denied an appeal in May.
Chamberlin has been on death row since Aug. 2006, when she was convicted of two counts of capital murder. Her victims, Vernon Hulett and Linda Heintzelman, were found dismembered in a freezer on March 29, 2004, in an abandoned farmhouse in Russell, Kansas.
