EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Michigan State sophomore wide receiver Nick Marsh found his love for football while growing up in Detroit.

"Nick was about 6 when I first got him started," Marsh's mom, Yolanda Wilson, said. Immediately, when I took him to the field, he was already bigger than all the other 6-year-olds. (Coaches) said, when they threw a ball to him, he was about 7, he caught it with one hand. They were like let's keep this going."

Nick's talents quickly got noticed, and he received a college football offer when he was in the eighth grade. Marsh then started to get a little more attention during his freshman season at River Rouge High School, when he helped the Panthers reach the state championship game.
